Tailbone Milestone!

I am so deeply pleased! My novel has finally undergone it's third round of personal edits, and is now printed off ready for the next stage: external edit and review. Needless to say I am very nervous, but also excited. These are necessary stages for me to get my novel to the best it can be prior to publication! Just to hold them in my hands is an honour :)

Mermaids, oh yes

Been back into drawing mermaids lately, of course. I keep a sketchbook and some pencils in my work bag every day, just in case I want to sketch something on the train or have a surge of inspiration. Working on Simon's Cat is an amazing experience for me - I hadn't mentioned on here but since the wrap up on series 1 of Claude for Sixteen South I have gone on to work on the youtube sensation Simon's Cat and I love every minute of it. The animations are a huge inspiration me and I've enjoyed them since I was young so, it's become a great honor for me to be part of it! Enjoy some mermaid sketches <3

Telegram!

Happy 2019! I wanted to show off some of my telegram stickers I've been making and boy do I have a lot of them. They have proved a great client base, with lots of commissions coming in, including some that I must finish this afternoon. Here's a sneaky peaky of some of my own ones I did for my OC :)

Happy 1st November!

October is finished, and what a month it was! I managed to do an Inktober for every single day (which is a first for me!) and completed lots of artwork, including fanart, Halloween spooky art and another one of my crippled angels. So hopefully the cute favourites from Inktober will balance out the spoop! The really dark one isn't quite right yet but I'm still happy I played with much harsher shadow...the angel is 'crucifiction', a symbol of the suffering people put themselves through in an effort to please an invisible God, and the mice? Well, they are learning ballet of course! Happy Halloween!

Mermaids and Inktober!

This is my first Inktober and so far I've really enjoyed it; often about two or three days behind but still managing to ink something for every October day. I sort of upload them in bulk, on twitter, on instagram etc. I mix between inking other sketches I have done in the past or on the train (train sketches are something I try to do frequently now!) and general doodles.I'll pick some more of my favourites and upload them here at the end of october,alternatively please check out my instagram and twitter! Also in the process of working on Project Nyx I have been painting more varieties of merfolk! This kissing couple were inspired by seahorses, specifically the leafy sea dragon, and lion fish x
