Superhero Character designs and Sketches

A few sketches hither and tither, including some newly refined work beginning on superheroes. I have so many sketches rolling around that I want to put up, its not so easy to get them all up in time, some need cleaning, painting, refining, digital and traditional, but all good fun!

Finished another digital piece, a rough and ready style I got going. These are some of my favourite goblins/orcs, related to Awa, this is Nigris and Thrall, two brothers :)

Shirts and Games, oh my!

Whilst working hard on Poppy Cat series 2, myself and a housemate set about making some fun shirt designs! Our design 'Nick Fureon's Eevengers'really took off a storm, which was great! We had around 800 votes, 15,000 hits on DA (putting us on the What's Hot page for 48 hours) and 2,000+ favourites. With so much shirt love, we hope for the design to be on sale really soon <3 which hopefully means sweet money for Comic con (MCM) 2014! Portolio Works

New sketches and designs! I'm working at King Rollo on Poppy Cat series 2 for Nick Jr and Coolabi. Can't update my showreel yet but I soon will! Here are some sketches of 'cloud baby', my name for a flumpy young women I was drawing for human figure practise. The other are more centaur type creatures, based on calves and rams. The pony is a rough sketch too :) The other is a scary 'crippled angel' something dark and broody ^^ He is bound by the halo, and his blind devotion to faith and control. I want to develop this into an animation short too!

Doggies this Festive Season!

A set of doggy illustrations done for a number of local fetes. Some great fun designs! I really love drawing them ^^

Hercules & Teddy

Doggy character designs and also further development ready for me opening pet portrait (or rather, caricature) commissions! I shall soon be reopening regular commissions, along with fugly ones. Hooray! There are also many more animals coming this way. I love drawing dogs! The poodle is Hercules strutting his stuff: I've always loved the idea of male poodles, something about it has such character and personality, I've been keeping note of it while walking Teddy, one of my dogs. Speaking of which, Teddy is here too in all of his fluffy adorable glory - he was great fun to draw, I think I really captured his personality.
